Area-47 Tools have lots of features and uses including containing SCPs, diguising yourself, and even some cosmetic items. This page will go over a list of all tools in Area-47, what they do, how to get them, and more. Refer to the Weapons page for weapons, and the Weapon Skins page for skins on weapons.

Security Baton	Will cause any Class-D to trip, allowing gaurds to take action if needed.	Security Department, Internal Security Department members.
Diguise Kit	Will allow the player that has it to be diguised into a random non-combative team person to trick people into thinking they're part of the foundation.	Rent from Garry or Larry.
Elite Diguise Kit	Will allow the player that has it to be diguised into a random MTF or SD person to trick people into thinking they're part of the foundation.	Rent from Garry or Larry.
Medibag	Will allow the player that uses it and anyone in the healing zone to be slightly healed when used.	???
Riot Shield	Will lock the player's camera and allow them to block bullets from hitting them.	Riot Shield gamepass owners, Playing as Iota-10 on the Mobile Task Force, Rent from Larry.
Electric Shield	Will lock the player's camera and allow them to block bullets from hitting them. Will slightly damage any TERMINATE Class-D and CI members.	Playing as Alpha-1 on the Mobile Task Force.
Authorize CD	Will allow the player that has the tool to authorize any Class-D to be tested on and whatnot. However, Class-D can only walk a certain distance away from the person that has authorized, or else they will be shocked until the return closer, or die. Arrest	Will allow the player that has the tool to arrest any TERMINATE Class-D for $50 each arrest. When a Class-D is arrested, they will be unable to move for a short period of time before respawning.		N/A
Detain	Will allow the player that has the tool to detain anyone and bring them to the place wanted to by a player (Don't abuse this!). When a person is detained, they will be able to escape the detain by pressing the space bar on the keyboard roughly 10 times in the correct location shown. Bag	Will allow the player that has the tool to place the bag on SCP-096 when it has breached, respawning him immediately after placed onto him.	Security Department, Mobile Task Force members.
Wrench	Will allow the player that has the tool to fix any broken Scanner Gates, or Generators around the facility.	Engineering and Technical members.
Screwdriver	Will allow the player that has the tool to open a vent inside the facility and travel to any other vent.	Rent from Garry or Larry.
C4 Explosive	Will allow the player that has the tool to place it on The Vault and generators to explode them.	Rent from Garry or Larry.
Hacking Device	Will allow the player that has the tool to hack any door in the game and allow it to not be opened until fixed by a REDACTED team member.	Rent from Garry or Larry.
Glowstick	Will emit a faint yellow-green light when equipped.	Rent from Jimbo or Garry.
Signal Jammer	Will allow the player that has the tool to cause The Warehouse alarms to not active for 30 seconds when attempting to rob it.	Rent from Garry or Larry.
Watermelon	Can be eaten with no special effects.	Rent from Jimbo or Larry.
Pizza	Can be eaten with no special effects.	No current obtainment method.
Taco	Can be eaten with no special effects.	Rent from Jimbo.
Turkey Leg	Can be eaten with no special effects.	No current obtainment method.
Lollipop	Can be eaten with no special effects.	Taking part in a checkup from the Medical Department.
Mop	Allows any Class-D that purchases it to clean up dirty spots in the CDCZ for $5 each spot cleaned.	Rent from Larry.
Sewer Access	Allows any Class-D that purchases it to be teleported to the CI Tunnels.	Rent from Larry.
Ban Hammer		Being a Game Moderator or higher.
IA Badge		No current obtainment method.
Clipboard	Allows anyone with the tool to write down some information on whatever it is needed for.
Containment Mine	Allows the player to place a containment mine when a SCP-173 breach event occurs or is purchased.	Given to combatives during a SCP-173 breach event.
Mine Detonate	Allows the player to explode a containment mine to recontain SCP-173 when a breach event occurs or is purchased.	Given to combatives after placing the containment mine during a SCP-173 breach event.
ID (GUI ITEM)	Allows a player to show their ID to anyone and to show their clearence at a security checkpoint.	Given to all players.
Fire Extinguisher	Locks the player's camera so the player that has the item can damage SCP-457, and eventually terminate it after enough damage is done to recontain it.	Picking it up from a containment tools table as a member of a REDACTED team or a Mobile Task Force member.
Flashlight	Locks the player's camera so the player that has the item can turn on a light to cause SCP-017 to stop firing shadow balls at players when the light from it is shown on the anomaly.	Picking it up from a containment tools table as a member of a REDACTED team or a Mobile Task Force member.
Lavender Bottle	Locks the player's camera so the player that has the item can calm SCP-049 down during a breach, allowing SCP-049 to follow the player and allowing you to contain it again.	Picking it up from a containment tools table as a member of a REDACTED team or a Mobile Task Force member.
SCP-513		No current obtainment methods.

Trivia

• SCP-871 used to be in the game like SCP-513, however only 513 is still in the game after being removed for some reason.
• When dying with items that lock your camera, you can move around while dead if you ragdoll. Sometimes you will go flying around instead.
